Erin Condren Life Planner Review

A few months ago, I shared an Instagram photo of the best mail day ever. My Stitch Fix box arrived on the same day as my new Erin Condren Life Planner. So many people wanted a peek at my planner and had such a genuine enthusiasm for Erin Condren’s organizational products, I couldn’t help but share a peek into my newest planner. Since Kinder Craze readers love Erin Condren as much as I do, I’m giving away two Erin Condren Life Planners. But first, I have pretty photos to share with you.

If you are new to the world of Erin Condren, let me be the first to introduce you! It’s an online company that creates the most beautiful home and organizational products. The Erin Condren Life Planner is my favorite product. A box this pretty can only mean one thing: great things are inside!

I opened the box and was greeted by this reminder to spend my time doing what I love. At this moment, I am sitting in my home office, working on a blog post and organizing a giveaway for YOU with photos I captured with my own camera. Creating is what makes me happy and this little yellow card just gave me a reminder of that fact!

I unwrapped the tissue paper to reveal my new Limited Edition rose gold Life Planner. I’m pretty much obsessed with anything rose gold at the moment so I was beyond excited to see that Erin would be offering a Life Planner in this metallic finish (sad news… the rose gold Life Planner is now out of stock).

This year, Erin Condren offered ready-to-ship Life Planners when the latest set was released. The company specializes in personalized products, but they had a huge batch of these planners pre-printed with a simple, but lovely cover. My “generic” life planner came with a promo code inside for me to order a personalized alternate cover at a later date for free. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had time to order a new cover yet. But when the starter cover looks this gorgeous, there isn’t really a need to hurry! Every Life Planner comes with a translucent vellum page inside the cover. Mine had rose gold accents. Swoon!

Behind the vellum is a cover sheet with blank lines for me to write my name.

Inspirational messages are dispersed throughout the planner. This reminder to “Make the Days Count” was right at the beginning.

A planning page is also included near the front of my Life Planner. I am a very goal-oriented person so these two pages are perfect for recording my monthly goals. You could also use the space for recording lists, birthdays, important contact information or anything that you may need to reference in a hurry!

What I love most about this planner are the tabs. Each month is marked with a tab so you can quickly turn to a 2-page spread of any monthly calendar with minimal effort. The tabs are laminated and very durable! I have had an Erin Condren Life Planner for the past 2 years and I have never had a tab rip, bend or get beat up in any way.

Each 2-page calendar layout is followed by weekly layouts, which include a column for each day as well as a section for writing notes.

A blank, lined page appears at the end of each monthly set along with a new inspirational quote for the next month’s journey.

The back of the Erin Condren Life Planner has several more lined pages for note taking …

and even some pages with graph paper for sketching.

The very back of the planner includes a few sheets of pre-printed stickers to designate special events throughout the planner.

A few sheets of blank stickers are included in the planner as well!

A pocket folder is located back of my Erin Condren Life Planner. Inside was my coupon for a personalized cover (I ordered a pre-printed Life Planner which arrived faster and will allow me to personalize it at a later date free of charge). I use this little folder to hold all sorts of goodies, especially coupons and receipts.

The little salmon-colored book is a perpetual calendar that was included in my Erin Condren Life Planner free of charge. It’s a great tool for recording birthdays, anniversaries and other annual events so I don’t forget them from year to year.

The Life Planner also includes a convenient plastic zipper pouch at the very end. The wonderful people at Erin Condren tucked all sorts of goodies in the pouch free of charge, including stickers and referral cards for friends. I use the pouch to store stamps, tickets, business cards and other small items that I don’t want to lose.

  1. I would be so happy to try this planner out!! Transitioning to a full time school-based counselor this year, so it would be put to good use! Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. What a beautiful planner. I have wanted to get an EC Planner for a while, but as a school based SLP, I have to spread out my purchases for therapy materials and am left envious of those who purchase one. So, I have my fingers crossed that my name gets drawn by that Rafllecopter. By the way, I have incorporated many of your classroom design ideas and several of your products into my therapy/testing room. I work predominately on a PK campus. Thank you for this great opportunity.

  3. I love Erin Condren! And I love you. This would be perfect. I have signed up. When will the winners be announced?

  4. I love Erin Condren’s products; and the gold planner is amazing. I have been “eyeing” it for awhile, but have not gotten it yet- it’s a little pricey for my teacher budget. I do have her 2014-2015 planner from last year and it’s amazing. I love to decorate with stickers. It makes planning so much more fun. I do however, love the updates she and her team have made with the horizontal and vertical planner. What I love most about the rose gold planner is the color, of course, and the paper designs- “Make the days count”. However, I would love to get it because this year I’ll be teaching a TK/K split and lots of planning will be done this year in PLCs and PDs… Also, love your blog- following online, Instagram, and TPT!

Hi, I'm Maria.

I’m a former kindergarten teacher turned work-from-home mom. I still love sharing ideas and resources to make teaching easier, so you can focus on what really matters in the classroom. When I’m not working on the blog, you’ll find me chasing kids around the house with a cold cup of coffee in my hand (some things never change even once you’re out of the classroom!)
