Photos of my Elf in Action

As you know, I am hosting a classroom elf this year. My studenents watched An Elf’s Story on DVD, then wrote letters to Santa requesting an Elf on the Shelf for our classroom. We had heard that some elves were naughty and caused mischief, so we asked Santa to send us a well-behaved elf that could follow all the rules. Our elf arrived via “Special Delivery” from Santa and we immediately named him Nicholas. As promised, Nicholas does not cause a single classroom antic. Each day, he simply found a new location in the classroom to keep watch while he collected observations for his nightly report to Santa. I snapped some photos of our friend each time he visited the classroom. Check out where he has been.

  1. Is the Uh-Oh from Santa note available somewhere? I did not find it in the classroom freebie on tpt. Unfortunately, we have a couple of Uh-oh days in our classroom during December. Thank you!

Hi, I'm Maria.

I’m a former kindergarten teacher turned work-from-home mom. I still love sharing ideas and resources to make teaching easier, so you can focus on what really matters in the classroom. When I’m not working on the blog, you’ll find me chasing kids around the house with a cold cup of coffee in my hand (some things never change even once you’re out of the classroom!)
