Friends, I have news. BIG news.
Many of you have been patiently waiting my next big announcement ever since I revealed the new look of Kinder Craze. For several weeks now, I have been busily working behind the scenes (trying to get every last detail just right) and I am SO excited to finally share my latest project with all of you. My fiancé, Rob, and I are launching a brand new blog to share all of our engagement, wedding, and marriage adventures. The name of this new blog?
Crazy Together.
It just seems fitting, doesn’t it?
But I am actually getting WAY ahead of myself right now.
Let me back up and tell you how this wonderful new blog came to be.
This story begins when we got engaged and I first shared the news of our engagement on this blog. Something magical happened that day: the outpouring of love and support from Kinder Craze fans was truly amazing and astounding.
Up until the moment of my engagement, I kept much of my personal life separate from my online presence. Any mentions of Rob were rare and on the sly. Around this time last year, I shared a photo of both our hands holding cups of apple cider. That was Rob’s first public appearance as part of my life.
After the engagement, as Rob and I began to plan our wedding and lay the groundwork for our upcoming marriage, it became apparent that each of us has a lot to say. I truly love sharing my favorite ideas and inspirations with you, but many of the new themes and topics of my life don’t quite seem to have a place on a kindergarten teaching blog.
An engagement announcement: yes.
A DIY tutorial for reception decorations: probably not.
And then there are the other themes about marriage and relationships that REALLY don’t have a place on a teaching blog. Issues like money, debt, and home ownership… really BIG topics.
So one evening, way back in the beginning of my summer vacation, Rob and I sat down to dinner and talked. Really talked. We had a heart-to-heart conversation about what to do with all of these ideas and opinions that we have to share. We discussed starting a blog and wondered whether it would be a good decision for our relationship, if it was something that Kinder Craze readers would accept and love, and we also considered whether or not some of our ideas would fall into the category of “over sharing.”
Ultimately, we reached the conclusion that a new lifestyle blog is a huge and wonderful endeavor for us to take on as we prepare for our new life together. We hope you will join us on the journey.
You can also find Crazy Together on Facebook and Instagram.
PS – Don’t worry! Kinder Craze isn’t going anywhere. I love sharing classroom ideas and inspiration WAY too much to give up this wonderful blog that you know and love. I’ll still be here. From now on, I’ll just be at Crazy Together too.

So exciting! I can’t wait to read your new blog!
I also have a school/teaching blog (mrsgloudemansteaching@blogspot.com) and started a personal blog (sirayasays@blogspot.com) and find the personal one a good outlet of what is in my mind as well as to share with my family-including my father- who live hours away. When we had/have some complications with our pregnancy, our newborn, or life in general, it is nice to talk it out and then get outside support. You learn very quickly you are not alone in much of anything.
My question for you is how you manage 2 Instagram accounts. I have a school and personal one but found myself hating logging in and out. Any advice to speed up the process?
Can’t wait to read this side of things in your life!
Hi Siraya,
Thank you… I am looking forward to having an outlet for the personal events in my life.
Admittedly, we have only been juggling 2 Instagram accounts for less than a week. I was worried about logging in and out too, so the Crazy Together account is logged in on my fiancé’s phone, and Kinder Craze is on my phone. Having two devices definitely makes the juggling easier!
Congratulations on your new adventure, both as a couple preparing for marriage and as bloggers!
Thank you so much Erin!
Love it! My hubby and I had to figure that out too as I was a regular in the blogosphere, and he wanted to be part of that too. It has been SO FUN!! You are going to love having that space together.
Thank you Tabitha,
I stopped by and checked out your blog. It is SO cute and I love your carnival rehearsal dinner!
