Need some quick and easy resources for teaching about the presidents in your kindergarten or first grade classroom? Look no further! I have some great products and FREEBIES to give your lesson plans a fun (and educational) boost!

Interactive Sight Word Readers are great for learning sight words. In this 6-page emergent reader, students cut out, unscramble, and glue letters to spell a particular sight word. “This is Abraham Lincoln”provides an opportunity for students to work on sight word “this”. The completed book is a perfect emergent reader with simple, repetitive text for students to read over and over again. You can purchase “This is Abraham Lincoln” for $1 in my TpT store.

Interactive Sight Word Reader “He is George Washington” is also available for $1 in my TpT store.

  1. Thank you so much for this awesome booklet! My sons and I did the booklet this morning and they loved it! My oldest has been struggling with this sight word so it really helped us and I wanted to thank you!

  2. Hi, I just downloaded this for my class to color tomorrow. Do you have a color by number sheet for Abraham Lincoln as well?

    Thank you!

Hi, I'm Maria.

I’m a former kindergarten teacher turned work-from-home mom. I still love sharing ideas and resources to make teaching easier, so you can focus on what really matters in the classroom. When I’m not working on the blog, you’ll find me chasing kids around the house with a cold cup of coffee in my hand (some things never change even once you’re out of the classroom!)
